The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) declared June 1 as a World milk day in 2001. The day encourages the benefits of dairy products related to health and nutrition and passion of the sectors to feed our communities.
National Milk Day
In India, National Milk Day is observed on November 26 every year. The day was initiated by the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) in 2014. The National Milk Day is celebrated on 26 November to honour Dr. Verghese Kurien, who is considered to be the father of India's White Revolution.
